Beyond his work as a CFO, Salvatore also has a fifteen-year background as a venture capital and private equity investor, giving him a deep understanding of investment strategies and the cultivation of value in a variety of market sectors. He has sat as a key member on several boards of directors, handling audits, restructurings, and acquisitions. Over the course of his career, he has successfully facilitated over $400 million in equity and debt fundraising, which has proven critical for companies’ expansion and recapitalization efforts. His experience in mergers and acquisitions includes the strategic purchase and sale of 12 companies, processes that have included value creation and transaction management. As a supplement to his Fractional CFO and investor roles, Salvatore serves as an advisor and executive coach, offering guidance in analytical decision-making, strategic planning, and professional development.   His academic background includes an MBA from the Wharton School where he graduated with Palmer Scholar honors and a MSE in Telecommunications and Networking Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed an AB at Harvard University.

Prior to joining CFO Pro+Analytics, Bob spent his career as a professional investor covering a variety of asset classes.   Most recently, he was a Portfolio Manager at Cardinal Capital Management where he led investments in micro-, small and SMID-cap companies. He has spent over two decades developing expertise in identifying companies with strong valuation growth potential, backing these stocks with investment funds to help them achieve their goals.   Bob works with companies using a hands-on approach with the executive team. He has advised and challenged C-suite executives in strategy & capital allocation and has deep experience assessing activist engagements, corporate transactions and special situations. As a result of this specialized expertise, Bob leverages our CFO Services capabilities in a targeted way to assist executive teams to improve their financial and operating strategies with a direct connection to investor relations, share liquidity development and price appreciation.   His fundamental orientation and industry experience in equities and fixed income enable him to provide a wide range of strategic financing advice to management teams navigating the challenges of public markets. Additionally, he has managed and mentored analysts and traders for due diligence, management interviews and valuation techniques. Bob has been a founding member of the senior management team for multiple asset management businesses as well as served on the Board of Directors of Steris Corporation (NYSE: STE).   He began his career working in the audit division of Arthur Andersen LLP. He has an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a licensed CPA (inactive). A native of Indiana, Bob received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Ball State University.

He has gone through multiple Sage Intacct implementations as Project Lead and also has experience with a wide variety of financial applications including: Concur, Salesforce, Martus, SIP, Expensify, Ramp, BILL, ADP, Paychex, Bamboo HR, Procurify, Paylocity, Floqast, and Numeric. Daniel has a proven track record of building finance and accounting functions from the ground up, including chart of accounts design, banking setup, financial reporting, and governance infrastructure, in early-stage and rapidly scaling nonprofit environments. He is also experienced in nonprofit compliance and tax obligations, including 990 filings, restricted fund tracking, and board reporting. Originally from Connecticut, he has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Southern Connecticut State University and obtained a Forensic Accounting Certificate from New York University. He currently resides in the Washington, D.C area with his wife and children and enjoys hiking and camping with them in his free time.

Before that, he led Corporate M&A Due Diligence and Integration at Branded, a VC-backed e-commerce acquirer and operator. At Branded, he developed an in-house financial due diligence process, reducing deal closure time by ~50% (to under 30 days). He owned the cross-functional acquisition diligence process, averaging 2 deals per month, and evaluated investments as a member of the firm's Investment Committee.   Prior to Branded, George was a VP & Director at Duff & Phelps (now Kroll), advising on buy-side and sell-side domestic and cross-border M&A. He led financial due diligence across various industries, including consumer & retail, manufacturing & distribution, business services, technology & media, financial services, healthcare, and real estate. His earlier background spans corporate finance, public accounting (audit & tax), and FP&A.   Beyond his advisory work George is passionate about AI, automation, and data analytics. He is also the Founder of DealCore, an M&A diligence software platform streamlining financial and commercial due diligence in the private markets.   His academic background includes an MBA from ESADE Business School, an MS in Accountancy from Baruch College, and a BS in Computer Information Systems from SCSU. George is a licensed CPA (active), Chartered Global Management Accountant (inactive), and former FINRA Series 63 & 79 Investment Banking representative (inactive).

He worked on several control acquisitions, providing vital FP&A support to portfolio companies, and contributing to the fund's success in securing key investments.   Throughout his career, Bill has also provided financial operations and FP&A guidance to various early-stage software startups. His expertise includes financial modeling, budgeting, and ERP system integration. Bill leverages NetSuite, Intacct, Oracle, Salesforce, and Power BI in his services practice. He has supported startups in investor preparation, regulatory compliance, and financial management.   Bill's earlier roles include positions at The Kraft Heinz Company and Barclays Investment Bank. At Kraft Heinz, he supported FP&A and M&A activities, involving budgeting, financial forecasting, and acquisition management. At Barclays, he developed his skills in M&A investment banking, working on sell-side and buy-side transactions.   He holds a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Wesleyan University. Bill is currently completing an MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
