Yuliya Spektor is an accounting and finance expert in our Fractional CFO Services practice. She has over fifteen years of extensive experience in financial strategy, modeling, reporting, technical accounting and audits. Using financial modeling, profitability analysis, and strategic planning, she provides critical insights into financial and accounting decisions. As a licensed CPA with a public accounting background, she can also ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.

Yuliya previously worked for renowned brands such as KPMG, Burberry, Lacoste, and Zadig & Voltaire, where she successfully built and led financial teams that drove leadership decisions and contributed to business success. As a finance leader, Yuliya scaled up operations to support rapid revenue growth, conducted strategic cost-saving initiatives, and enhanced financial processes.

Yuliya has worked with businesses that operate using branded direct-to-consumer acquisition models, contract manufacturing, inventory management, and multi-channel sell-through. She excels at driving value through digital marketing, discounting strategies, and promotional advertising, with experience spanning in-house and third-party e-commerce platforms, as well as third-party brick-and-mortar retail environments.

She has also led strategic initiatives in inventory management; these have resulted in double-digit reductions in shrinkage and obsolete inventory, optimized inventory valuation, freight and duty allocation, and supply chain efficiencies.

Outside of her professional background, Yuliya is an ultrarunner; she enjoys rising to athletic and business challenges with focus, endurance, and tenacity.

Yuliya holds an MBA in Accounting from Baruch College. A native of Russia, Yuliya received an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance.
